**About us**

Ataraxis Management is a small boutique project and property management company in Ottawa, striving to make positive and peaceful tenant connections and comfortable living spaces. We are seeking an experienced, organized, self-motivated individual to join our small team that manages personal and corporate housing. This is a fast-paced, rewarding work environment with a close-knit team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties.
- Perform carpentry work such as installing doors, windows, and cabinets.
- Perform painting, drywall repair, and other related tasks.
- Install and repair fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
- Install flooring materials such as tile, carpeting, hardwood, laminate, etc.
- Maintain property exteriors, ensuring lawns are maintained, pathways are clear of snow and ice, and the property is free of litter.
- Coordinate with external specialized trades as needed.
- Make an effort to be available for additional hours, only when needed, on evenings and weekends for emergencies (fire, flooding, broken locks, etc.).
- Respond to owner requests for errands and personal property maintenance.
- In all things, uphold company standards for safety, service, efficiency, discretion, and satisfaction.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Lift and move equipment up to 80 lbs in weight
- Carry equipment up and down stairs
- Safely climb ladders while carrying equipment
- Stand, bend, crouch, and walk for long periods of time
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

**Skills and other requirements**:

- Experience with property maintenance (mechanical and electrical systems experience an asset)
- Excellent facility with common hand and power tools
- Familiarity with floor plans, apartment unit layouts, and infrastructures
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with the property management team
- Must hold valid driver's license, auto insurance, and demonstrated safe driving record
- Clear police record
- Gmail, forms on google drive, using google photos
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
- Related trade school training is preferred and is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 44 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
