**The Role: Project Manager, New Product Introduction**

**Who are you?**

This role aims to ensure that the development of Structured Adsorbent Bed products meets customer expectations. This will be achieved in a controlled and timely manner by executing a PDP (product development process) focused on delivering value, quality, and reliability to the customer while facilitating communication and collaboration across teams. This role ensures the delivery of products that meet customers’ needs in a controlled and timely manner. By doing so, it supports the success of the contributing teams.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Provide engineering support for all activities in the product development process. Prepare project timelines and identify all resource requirements.
- Communicate timelines, progress, risks & mitigation of product development to Product Management.
- Monitor the status of all new products or product changes and ensure effective and timely execution of projects while highlighting and communicating risks to the plan.
- Prepare plans for all NPI or product change projects and coordinate with all stake-holders to ensure the delivery of quality products.
- Coordinate with engineering and product management departments and develop and implement Manufacturing plans for products.
- Assist Manufacturing department and manage communication across all departments.
- Develop product test plans and perform production tests according to manufacturing process instructions to ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Manage other larger long-term projects of the Manufacturing team.
- Contribute to Svante’s lean culture by teaching the principles and benefits of con-trolled product introduction.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Experience:

- 10 years' experience demonstrating a solid understanding of product development and volume manufacturing.
- Education:

- Materials or Mechanical Engineering degree is an asset.
- PMP certification is an asset.
- Characteristics:

- Excellent collaborator who effectively works across multiple groups/teams.
- Commonly acknowledge challenges or risks but conclude by marking the progress made and the ability to meet deliverables with planning & focus.
- Able to make judgments to discard what does not deliver value to the customer.
- Espouses Svante’s core values and is driven by the challenge to reverse hu-man impact on the climate.
