**Job Description**:
AECOM's growing portfolio of Transit & Rail Infrastructure projects is leading Canadians into the future.
Our Advisory Services team is searching for anon-call Property/Land Specialist.
Location(s): Mississauga, Markham, Whitby, Kitchener
You will be joining an industry leading team of multi-disciplined professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Review Project Agreements, Lands Tables and abstract key information about land /lease provisions, property information, due diligence, legal / financial instrumentation title, and terms & conditions.
- Engage as a technical advisor in the coordination of land / property acquisition, negotiation, and disposition.
- Working through the proposal process, using project management principles, with particular focus on quality assurance, accuracy, professionalism and timeliness.
- Perform real property due diligence research required for complex real estate transactions.
- Contributing to environmental analysis/reports, heritage studies, title searches, title documents, site plans, and R-Plans.
- Developing Project Agreement provisions based on project information and feedback during the procurement and design development processes.
- Create and maintain project related property acquisition tracking tables.
- Represent AECOM/client in project /stakeholder meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree + 4 years experience in property / land acquisition, real estate OR Diploma + 6 years of experience in property /land acquisition, real estate OR Highschool + 8 years experience in property / land acquisition, real estate
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of property / land management experience is ideal
- Familiarity with large-scale municipal commercial construction
- Experience with alternative delivery model(
- AFP/P3, Alliance, Progressive Design-Build, etc.)
- projects
- Property acquisition knowledge or real estate negotiation is considered an asset
- Ability to interpret surveys / R-plans, maps and legal descriptions would be considered an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- IRWA, real estate sales professional, and/or P3 certification is considered an asset.
Additional Information
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $88,500 - $149,000.
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
