The Job:
- Tend to the parts counter area for customer inquires and purchases
- Assist customers in identifying their automotive accessory and parts requirements
- Assist the variable team members with customer part questions
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly, thoroughly, and accurately
- Work with and maintain relationships with vendors to locate and order parts
- Assist the Service Technicians with requested parts
- Order parts by phone, online and through the parts management system
- Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary
- Keep parts department clean, orderly, and well-stocked
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Other duties deemed necessary by management
