Job Title: Kitchen Production Worker for The Drift Meat and Seafood

Job Location: The Kitchen in Duncan, BC

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and portion vegetables, meats, and seafood according to established recipes and standards
- Assemble products such as sausages and burgers
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers and grinders
- Safe food storing and handling
- Package and label products for distribution
- Using a computer and printer to modify and print labels
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Up to date Food Safe certification
- Previous experience in food production, culinary arts, or a related field preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to The Kitchen in Duncan
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand and work with large kitchen equipment for extended periods of time
- Must have a keen attention to detail and be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
