Optimil Machinery is a manufacturer of sawmill equipment and other related machinery. We are a family-run company and have been in business for over 35 years. We manufacture a wide variety of steel and aluminum parts. Our facility has a variety of different machine centres, all engaged in making high speed processing equipment for the forest industry.

We are looking for entry level workers for our machine shop and fitting shops.

Duties: moving material (steel, aluminum, metal parts, etc.) around machine shop; industrial shop clean up, drilling steel parts, grinding, preparing parts for assembling larger components.

Must be physically fit, be able to lift 50 lbs, have excellent communication skills, be extremely organized, have mechanical aptitude, and be willing to learn.

Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment, with electrical, hydraulic trades and engineering staff.

Experience in an industrial machine shop environment is an asset.

Day shift 7-3:30 pm

You must have reliable transportation, as transit to this area is limited.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
