'''Duties'''
- Analyse plating baths and record results
- Monitor operating parameters on plating baths & add the appropriate solvents or chemicals to bring the production chemical in the tank to the required range and record the actions in the log sheet.
- Monitor gages such as temperature gauges related to the tanks record and adjust to the requirement.
- Communicate Quality Assurance Manager of any bath parameters that are outside of requirements as stated in company operating procedures.
- Ensure all lab chemicals are current. Record the expiry date of chemicals in the log sheet. Report and document all expired chemical to Quality Assurance Manager.
- Perform monthly chemical inventory.
- Issue and document SOP / work instruction related to quality and production.
- Verify and report discrepancy that is deviated from SOP / work instruction & procedure
- Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections. Customer requirements must be followed and the inspection and test have to be performed as per customer requirement.
- Issue work order daily to production. Requirements must be verified before issuing a work order.
- Ensure that all inspections have been properly documented on the appropriate inspection forms and have been performed to company sampling plan as per company procedures.
- Prepare test panels for processing lines and outside testing and make sure you have the required panels.
- Notify Quality Assurance Manager of non-conformance issues.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated. Report any equipment with expired calibrations to Quality Assurance Manager.
- Run passivation and Manganese Phosphate at production line when ever order recieved
- Administer file manager data base
- Clean and maintain all lab equipment and the laboratory.
- Follow all safety rules when handling chemicals and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Assist production whenever there is a need of assistance

- Laboratory skill required - Titration
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
- Kowledge of computer use - Word, excell & power point
- Proficient in math and basic statistical analysis
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to Commute:

- Mississauga, ON L4W 4M6 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
