Security Operations Administrator

Blackbird Security Inc. is hiring a **Security Operations Administrator** to join our **Vancouver, BC** headquarters team.

We’re all young professionals and are looking for an energetic, motivated, forward-thinking, and driven Security Operations Administrator who will be very involved in making our company processes and procedures more streamlined and efficient. This is a critical and pivotal role in our development as a fast-growing security company, one that requires an operations background and experience with working independently and across cross-functional and geographically diverse teams - bonus points if you’re familiar with the Security Industry.

**Job Duties**:

- Assisting the Executive Leadership team with day-to-day operations in all of our regions across Canada.
- Participate in the creation, revision, and presentation of training materials and resources
- Collaborate with other head office managers on projects and initiatives.
- Work within and focus on maximizing our TrackTik software.
- Work closely with the Operations support manager to manage and track company assets.
- Regularly review standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure SOC continues to effectively meet operational requirements
- Coordinate with HR and other managers to create and modify company manuals.
- Participate in the development of process documents and procedures.
- Participate in and perform ad-hoc tasks to support the National Management team in achieving organizational and operational goals.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with clients when necessary.
- Support the office team with systems administration as required.
- Assist with general office administration as required.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and provide support as needed to the administrative and leadership teams.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in the Security Operations is an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administration or a similar role
- Background in Business and People Operations is required.
- Prior experience leading large teams is required.
- A degree in Business, Administration, human resources, or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and meet rigorous deadlines.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
- Experience with change management.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Tracktik is an asset.
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Willingness to travel to different locations.
- Tech-savviness is preferred.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to commute to our Vancouver office.

**Job Type**: Full Time; Permanent

Hours: 40 hrs / weekly. Our office hours are 9 am - 5:30 pm

Location: This is an on-site role from our Vancouver, BC Headquarters.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per month
