**The Position**:
We’re looking for a
**CAD TECHNICIAN **to create digital fabrication plans for our projects.

**Requirements**:

- AutoCAD - 3 Years of Experience
- Work experience drafting cabinetry and woodwork
- Able to interpret blueprints and design drawings
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Technical design skills
- Strong and clear communication skills (written and verbal).
- Sketchup and Rendering experience an asset
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint ).
- Excellent time-management skills to meet firm deadlines and estimate drafting time
- Flexible, open thinker
- Able to solve problems in a cost-effective way - your drawings dictate how effective we are on our shop floor
- Able to propose improved ways of communicating and fabricating projects
- Experience or proven interest in other digital technologies such as CAD software (CNC software, cabinetmaking software)

**Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate, detailed fabrication drawings for our shop team to build projects from
- Interpret written scopes of work + design/concept drawings
- Effectively add construction details required for fabrication
- Add efficiency and quality improvements to our shop drawing packages

**The Location**: Our shop is in Central Edmonton near The Yellowhead & 127th Street. Bus stop nearby.
