As the HR Generalist/Recruiter, you’ll be involved in a broad range of human resources functions, from hiring and onboarding to training to performance management. You’ll be part of a dynamic organization, supporting HR initiatives across all Trooh offices in the US and Canada. This is an exciting role for someone looking to broaden their HR experience and be involved in creating new HR processes.

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Partner and build relationships with the Trooh team to become a trusted HR resource for HR advice
- Act as a key contact in dealing with a broad range of human resources policies and procedures, and employee relations matters. Ensure legal compliance with all applicable laws.
- Proactively identify and assist with implementing solutions in line with Trooh’s business strategy
- Assist in the planning and execution of HR programs and processes including training and development, performance management and new hire onboarding
- Monitor employee engagement and retention and suggest recommendations to maintain a positive work culture
- Keep up-to-date of current trends and best practices related to HR share this knowledge to support process improvements
- Perform administrative functions related to day-to-day operations

**What you offer**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required
- CHRP designation is preferred
- A minimum of 4 years progressive, well-rounded generalist experience, preferably within a sales or digital media organization
- Good understanding of HR generalist capabilities (e.g. recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development)
- Experience supporting an organization with operations in the United States and Canada preferred; strong working knowledge of federal, provincial and state employment, human rights, and health and safety legislation across various jurisdictions an asset
- Experience using creative techniques to identify potential talent using multiple methods of sourcing and recruiting passive and active prospects; demonstrated ability to source & recruit for a broad range of positions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships proactively with employees at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and in the use of an ADP WorkforceNow
- Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly-sensitive information in an open work space
- Ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast paced and nimble work environment

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
