**General Summary.....**

Assist the supervisor in the daily management of tasks of a particular department. Including coordinating the duties of employees from different departments and swapping them as needed.

**This position will be responsible for.....**
- Coordinate the activities of employees in their sector and distribute tasks so as to maintain an efficient and planned workload according to daily needs and according to the needs of the client;
- Coordinate training and / or train employees in different tasks;
- Support the receiving department with regard to coordinating the reception of products, etc ;
- Ensure that FedEx Supply Chain policies and procedures are followed;
- Recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency while ensuring strict compliance with safety rules.

**Education/Experience**
- Probation period successfully completed at FedEx Supply Chain;
- Excellent performance and safety record in current position (no disciplinary measures whatsoever and no problem of absenteeism);
- Excellent knowledge of the MDC distribution center (work areas, types of activities);
- Mastery of all types of forklifts at MDC, RF scanners;
- Ability to easily learn new software (WMOS, Manhattan, Vocollect);
- Previous experience of three to five years in warehouse;
- Sense of initiative and organization;
- Customer service oriented;
- Good listening and communication skills and demonstrates leadership;
- Bilingualism (asset);- Ability or knowledge of automotive parts (asset).

**Physical/Cognitive Requirements**

- Ability to follow policies and procedures.- Ability to read, write and interpret information.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.- Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.
