Vancouver, Canada Ledding & Company LLP Full time

We are a boutique law firm that focuses on complex real estate and commercial law located in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver. Our firm focuses on providing value to clients and doing quality work over volume.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and review various corporate and commercial agreements, such as share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and joint venture agreements
- Conduct basic legal research on various corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance
- Prepare and file various corporate documents, such as incorporation documents, and shareholder resolutions
- Assist with due diligence in connection with corporate transactions
- Manage and maintain corporate records and minute books
- Liaise with clients, lawyers, and other professionals
- Supervise and mentor legal assistants

Preferred qualifications:

- 3 years of experience as a corporate commercial paralegal
- Experience in drafting and reviewing various corporate and commercial agreements
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, including corporate governance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with real estate matters is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software, including Appara
