Cavan Monaghan, Canada The Gardener Landscape Maintenance Full time

**Full time, year round position**:

- No students please.**

Under the supervision of the Crew Lead, the incumbent will perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, carry and navigating heavy loads. Extended periods of walking, standing, squatting and crouching. This position will perform the outdoor maintenance requested by clients, as assigned by the crew lead.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work within Occupational Health & Safety guidelines
- Executes tasks delegated by Crew Lead
- Clean all work areas, including job site once work has been completed
- Complete all tasks in a safe manner as assigned by Crew Lead
- Report any unsafe situations to the Crew Lead
- Report any tools and equipment that are damaged or in need of repair
- Complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner
- Use of handheld manual and power equipment
- Complete high-quality work
- Use of hand tools, string trimmer, hedge trimmers, hand prunners, various hand tools etc
- Assisting in tree trimming, shrubs, and hedges
- Weeding and cultivating garden beds, trimming and edging where required

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- High attention to detail and process
- Ability to communicate effectively in various environments
- Able to work both independently and in a team dynamic

**Physical Effort**
- May perform physical lifts up to 50lbs, or 75lbs in a two-person lift
- Extended periods of time spent standing, squatting, kneeling
- Working outdoors in various weather

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
