**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts receivable by invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and reconciling statements.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy between financial records and bank statements.
- Assist in payroll processing, ensuring all employee hours are accurately recorded and payments are made on time.
- Prepare budgets and financial reports to assist management in decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is required.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, account reconciliation, and budgeting is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
