**PAUL French Bakery Cafe and Restaurant is looking for Experienced Pastry Chef / Head Baker **

Pastry Chef Reports to Head Chef, Store manager, Operation Manager directly, Require to work in the Stores or commissary in order to manage and train the team.

Paul is an authentic real French pastry, bakery shop and restaurant with over 130 years of experience and over 800 stores worldwide. Paul goal is to offer the highest quality of baked good in Canada.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned as required):

- Create Daily production plan
- Train staff of House made and frozen item production, procedure and recipes
- Follow Orders from Front and other stores
- Organize all the recipes and create recipes for new products
- Guarantee a clean and well organized kitchen
- Assure that daily Prep and production is done
- Guarantee product quality by making sure the team following the recipes
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail with regards to product presentation and design
- Create a new High-end products and work closely with head chef to match brunch and dinner desserts
- Help in catering and Sandwich production
- Provide monthly new product list, and recipes for trial
- Meet production schedules and timelines

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- Making Unique cakes, French Pastry, Viennoisserie, and other baked goods.
- Ability to multi-task
- have an eye for detail
- Organized and able to work under pressure in a very busy environment
- English language communication skills
- Flexible working hours
- Management and inventory skills
- Working with Microsoft excel and Word

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $53,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Kitchen management: 3 years (preferred)
- inventory: 1 year (preferred)
- Cake design: 2 years (preferred)
- Bakery: 3 years (preferred)
- Bakers & Confectioners: 3 years (preferred)
