Press Brake Operator

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, fold, or shape metal plates or sheets according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations.
- Select appropriate tools, dies, and fixtures for each job.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, angles, and dimensions of finished product.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating press brake machinery is required.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating a forklift is preferred.
