We are seeking a Corporate Services Manager (Lawyer) to join our talented team of professionals in our Corporate Services Team who provide general corporate service and transactions expertise to our larger Business Law Team. **Core Duties and Responsibilities**

As Corporate Services Manager (Lawyer), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Contribute to work output by completing corporate law transactions including incorporations, amalgamations, purchase and sale of business, and tax reorganizations;
- Facilitate the delivery of high quality, timely output from the Corporate Services team by optimizing workflow process and procedures, delegating and managing work assignments;
- Manage, lead, and empower a high-performance team; and
- Build strong internal and external relationships, including attendance at Corporate Service conferences.

**Qualifications and Skills**

To be successful, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, or equivalent combination of education and management experience
- Graduate of a Paralegal diploma program plus a significant amount of continuing education and management experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a Corporate/Commercial Services law practice;
- Functional management experience preferred;
- Member of the Nova Scotia Bar or eligible to become a member is an asset;
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and empower teams to high performance;
- Strategic thinker, pragmatic solution-finder, and collaborative implementer;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
- Project management ability, including planning, critical thinking, high attention to detail, and organizational skills;
- Technologically adept, specifically with legal software and Microsoft Suite and an aptitude to learn new software quickly.
