**Towne Ford in Miramichi, part of the Towne Automotive Group, is looking for a motivated and team-oriented Automotive Sales Manager to join it's team.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Recruiting, hiring, training, and overseeing a team of automotive salespeople
- Setting goals, tracking progress & leading the team to achieve & exceed quotas
- Coaching salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and providing advice and guidance to improve sales performance
- Forecasting sales for upcoming months and quarters
- Stepping in to answer customer questions and issues when required
- Coordinating and leading all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
- Developing & managing a database to retain customers & seek out new sales
- Maintaining a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
- Inventory management and promotion

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Strong background in sales, business, and/or marketing an asset
- 5+ years of experience in a sales management role is an asset
- Ability to follow process and directions
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High energy and an outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships quickly
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks on a daily basis
- A desire to succeed and exceed targets
- Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
- Substantial track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals
- Excellent leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing and service-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of inventory control and management

**Other Requirements**
- Strong computer skills
- Personal commitment to a career in the automotive industry
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
