**Position**: Area Sales Manager
Are you currently a multi-unit manager or high volume Store Manager looking to take your career to the next level? Fairweather Ltd is looking for an energetic and sales driven Area Manager who has a proven sales track record and has a strong desire to succeed. The Area Sales Manager will report to a District Manager and will be responsible to supervise and support a group of stores in the Greater Toronto Area which includes men’s and ladies clothing. The Area Sales Manager is responsible to maximize the stores overall performance as well as developing and motivating their team to achieve and surpass their sales objectives.
**Job Functions**:
- Determine needs of the business and ensures maximize sales are achieved.
- Hire, develop and retain management teams.
- Coach and train staff and create succession planning for future growth.
- Direct and manage stores on product management and the execution of all visual directives.
- Establish and communicates clear expectations of the team.
- Control wages and shrinks and ensures store audit compliance and shrink results are met.
- Ensures all staff adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure all daily operation functions are performed.
**Qualifications**:
- University degree and/or College diploma in retail management or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Multi Unit Sales Manager experience in fashion retail or 5 years as a high volume Store Manager in family fashion retail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Business oriented and results oriented
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates ability to analyze business trends to drive sales
- Demonstrates ability to coach and train team to become successful
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule / various shifts to meet the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Job Type**:Full-time
**Benefits**
**Schedule**:
44 hours per week/8-9 hour shift per day -Monday to Friday
- Holidays and Weekends (occasionally)
- Should be available for overtime hours if required

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
