About Us

We are hiring for our Vancouver location. This position could also be a split between our Vancouver and Richmond locations. We are located in South Vancouver in the Airport Square Building. We are looking for candidates who are able to provide individual/couples counselling.

Powerful Mind Counselling believes that each client has the capacity to reach their goals, strengthen their resilience and lead happier lives. We use a customized results-driven approach so that our clients get the results they are looking for.

About You

You are looking to join a team of counsellors who strive for providing exceptional client care, growing professionally as counsellors and also ensuring self-care. You are compassionate, non-judgmental and dedicated to empowering and supporting your clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

· Master's University Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related discipline

· Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors

· Two years' recent related counselling experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training

· Couples counselling experience with the Gottman approach highly recommended or interest in getting training in this approach

· Training and experience with CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy or Mindfulness strategies beneficial

· Excellent English language proficiency skills, both verbal and written

· Must have professional liability insurance

· Experience with Jane Software is an asset

Compensation

Competitive split offered based upon counselling experience.
