Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Manager, Line Maintenance East** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance Operations, the Manager, Line Maintenance East is responsible for the management and oversight of contracted line maintenance stations in North America East and the Caribbean.
**Primary Job Functions**:
- Monitor the performance of vendors and provide feedback / corrective action for performance improvement.
- Sample maintenance work in progress to ensure Flair requirements are being met
- Ensure the safety and security of Flair tools, inventory, and equipment
- Identify training required for contract personnel to improve performance
- Interact with Flair planning/maintenance control/vendor regarding the accomplishment of larger work packages
- Identify and report Flair and vendor issues and risks and submit through Flair’s SMS. Actively participate in Flair’s SMS and verify efficacy of corrective actions
- Participate in daily maintenance status and planning meetings.
- Maintain relationships with vendors through regular communication.
- Review vendor monthly billing
- Make recommendations regarding tooling and parts stocked at bases
- Recommend changes to internal procedures to improve efficiency/compliance
- Review maintenance delays at assigned bases and identify mitigation actions.
- Coordinate special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Operations Manager.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements include**:
- Possess M2 AME license with 737 NG and/or MAX endorsement
- Supervisory experience
- Willing to work portions of afternoon and night shifts as required for oversight of vendors
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
