**Our Philosophy**

One of the reasons we are so successful is that we offer our customers a “no-wall” experience. When patrons walk into our bagel shop, the first thing they see is the Kettlemans Bagel Roller working and rolling fresh bagels, cutting the dough with a knife, and boiling the bagels in honey water to seal moisture.

Behind the Bagel Roller is the baker who finishes the bagels with fresh poppy or sesame seeds and bakes them for about twenty minutes in our wood-burning oven. Once the process is complete, and it is an active process of carefully turning over the bagels away from the open hot wood flames, the bagels are ready to be eaten.

Just the traditional and original attention to detail which one expects when they go to an old-fashioned bagel shop. You can buy bagels anywhere - but you can only get a Kettlemans bagel in one place.

Kettlemans is seeking Bagel Bakers interested in joining one of Canada’s fastest growing quick service restaurant concepts. We are looking for an enthusiastic, **Bagel Bakers** for our location at **Trainyards, Ottawa.**

**Shifts Available** - **5am to 1pm, 1pm to 9pm, 9pm to 5am**

**We will train you and no experience is necessary.**

**_Duties: _**
- Prepare, kneed, and roll dough for bagels
- Prepare rolled dough to specific weight standards
- Ensure cleanliness of baker’s area
- Bake speciality bagels to maintain inventory
- Bake bagels for wholesale
- Ensure all ingredients date to HACCP regulations and standards
- Maintain freezer inventory through FIFO requirements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Good communication

Ability to lift up to 20kgs
