Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Admin to join our team. As a Hadoop Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Hadoop infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. You will work closely with our development and data analytics teams to support their needs and ensure the efficient processing of big data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters and related tools
- Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage user access and security permissions within the Hadoop environment
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize data ingestion and processing workflows
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Hadoop clusters
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation for optimal cluster performance
- Collaborate with data analysts to understand their requirements and provide necessary support
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Hadoop administration processes and procedures

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with Spark for big data processing and analytics
- Familiarity with VBA for automation tasks
- Strong analytical skills to analyze large datasets and derive insights
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies for software development
- Shell scripting experience for automation and scripting tasks
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques
