Strip/cut Sheet Press Packer

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- All phases of packaging/handling product from the Press
- Review of docket and special instructions for packaging requirements
- Labeling of cartons and pallets as required
- Visual inspection of product coming off conveyor for any noticeable damage or defects to ensure a quality product.
- Hand package, polywrap and or box product as per docket instructions.
- Tape/palletize finished cartons as required by docket specifications
- Complete and label completed pallets with required documentation.
- Call for removal of pallets when required.
- General housekeeping to maintain work area clean and tidy.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Assist operator with Wash-ups
- Assist operator with Make Ready
- Maintaining materials on packing equipment when depleted
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Must be prepared to work 5 x 24 or 7 x 24 shift schedule and overtime as required.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Good mathematical skill
