**Job Title**: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

**Location**: [Clinic/School Setting]

**Job Overview**: We are looking for a dedicated and professional **Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)** to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic services to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLPA will support the SLP by helping implement treatment plans, documenting progress, and preparing materials for therapy sessions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy to clients, following specific treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions in individual or group settings to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Document and report client progress to the supervising SLP, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Prepare therapy materials, activities, and equipment for sessions.
- Conduct speech and language screenings and gather data for evaluation under the guidance of the SLP.
- Communicate with clients and caregivers to explain home practice activities and progress, ensuring continuity of care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, organizing therapy materials, and assisting with client intake.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of an SLPA program or an equivalent certification from an accredited institution.
- Experience working with children or adults with speech and language disorders, ideally in a clinical or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients in therapy.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans provided by licensed SLPs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with technology and digital tools used for therapy documentation and scheduling.
