Brampton, Canada Focus Physiotherapy Full time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in any or all of our 6 locations (Brampton, Bolton, Mississauga, Etobicoke,York and North York)

Our physiotherapy clinics get numerous requests for speech therapy and we would like to accomodate these clients.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in various settings, including pediatrics and acute care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy services to patients to improve their communication skills and swallowing function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing abilities
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and case management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $52.44-$111.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
