Core Logistics International is a 3rd party transportation company that services the local GTA dealing primarily with freight forwarders, shippers, and airport pickup/deliveries. We cover a range of transportation modes, in addition to providing local transport and warehousing.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of **Dispatch Manager**.

**Business Information**:

- Overtime after 45 hours
- Average 40-hour week
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

**Qualifications**:

- Able to work independently and in a group setting.
- Able to understand workflow and anticipate potential issues before they arise.
- Able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency while having patience to deal with issues.
- Very strong computer skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly organized, scheduling reminders and calendar events for yourself.
- Able to pick up on discrepancies/irregularities and relay that information to the appropriate parties.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Ensure that orders are dispatched correctly on a daily basis to our team of drivers (8+).
- Conduct periodic performance reviews of existing staff as well as onboard new dispatch employees.
- Ensure that there are no violations for driver's HOS and they're logging into the equipment correctly.
- Arrange for vehicle service for both routine and emergency maintenance.
- Provide operational insight when quoting new contracts.
- Ensure that operational accounting is being done routinely and coordinate with the accounting department for any discrepancies.
- Onboarding new business to ensure everything runs smoothly.

**Nice to Have**:

- Knowledge of eManifest.
- Experience with CargoWise One.
- Experience dealing with Freight Forwarders.
- Experience quoting lanes of business (e.g., cost per KM, etc.).
- Experience in recovering/delivering freight to airline handlers.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
