**Scran & Dram Scottish Public House** - a community-focused gastro pub specializing in Scottish pub fare & comfort food - is hiring an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team

This position will ensure the best possible culinary experience for the Scran & Dram customers with particular emphasis on using fresh, local ingredients and traditional cooking methods.

**Accountabilities**:

- Reports directly to Sous Chef
- Assist with kitchen scheduling
- Bring passion to the kitchen every day and inspire other team members
- Setting and evolving culinary standards and systems
- Teaching and coaching the kitchen team members
- Support with menu creation, features, and special event menus
- Food safety management and training support
- Food cost accountability & recipe standards
- Ensuring food quality and execution
- Inventory and ordering

**Required qualifications**:

- Basic food handlers certification
- WHMIS certified
- Hard worker with the potential to work over 10 hours shifts as required
- Minimum 2 years kitchen experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude
- Passion for exceeding culinary expectations and crafting high-quality pub food from local ingredients

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
