This position reports to the Manager, Seniors’ Services and is responsible for all Recreation programming delivered to our clients - both the coordination of entertainers, other staff on the team, volunteers etc and implementing their own full calendar. This position leads a team of four and liaises with residents, their families, other departments, volunteers and community groups. We are looking for an energetic, detail oriented, enthusiastic professional to engage with our valued clients. Must be an excellent, clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.

This person shares on call duties for one or (max) two weeks per month, paid at Collective Agreement rates.

**Wage**: Starting at 27.50 + benefits and on call rate **Grid**: 12

**Status**: Full time, 40 hours per week

**Experience** **and Qualifications**
- Min 2 years experience with Seniors
- Min 2 years experience leading and implementing activities for people with varying abilities
- Proven leadership abilities

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Class 4 or 2 Drivers’ Lisence
- Emergency First Aid
- Criminal Record Check Clearance
- Seniors Fitness Certification (can be obtained after position is offered)
- Food Services Experience
- Serving it Right Certification (can be obtained after position is offered)
- Recreation Certification or commensurate experience
- Skilled with basic microsoft word programs - Work, Excel, Publisher etc.
