**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Survey Draftsperson to join our team. As a key member of our surveying department, you will be responsible for preparing survey plans, maps, and legal descriptions using MicroSurvey and/or AutoCAD. Your attention to detail and technical proficiency will be crucial to ensuring the accuracy and quality of our deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare survey plans, legal descriptions, and related documents from field data and survey notes.
- Utilize MicroSurvey and/or AutoCAD software to create and revise drawings.
- Interpret and analyze survey data, including topographic data, boundary surveys, and construction layouts.
- Collaborate with field crews and other team members to ensure data integrity and project accuracy.
- Perform quality control checks on completed drawings to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies and drafting techniques.
- Assist with other drafting and surveying related tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or certificate in Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Survey Draftsperson, preferably in an Ontario Land Surveying office.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, legal descriptions, and mapping conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with geodetic and cadastral surveying is an asset.
- Familiarity with Ontario land surveying regulations and standards is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- drafting: 3 years (preferred)
