Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of a **Livestock Accounting Clerk - 15 month term**. This opportunity is located in the community of **Steinbach, MB.**

**Your days will include**:

- Reconciling daily livestock movements
- Communicating with internal and external producers and respond to inquiries
- Compiling and distributing various reports
- Entering data from various sources into appropriate systems
- Weekly invoicing of sales and purchases according to legal agreements
- Preparing monthly reporting for review and analysis
- Reconciling General Ledger accounts
- Other duties as assigned

**To succeed in this role you must possess**:

- High School Diploma or previous accounting experience is an asset
- Strong Attention to detail
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Organizational and time management skills
- Experience in data-entry and database systems
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Self-motivated

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Steinbach, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
