Analyst- Program Outcomes and Impact

**Job Summary**
The John Howard Society of Southeastern New Brunswick (JHS SENB) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Analyst to support our efforts in measuring program outcomes and evaluating community impact. This role is designed to help build strong data-driven practices across our service delivery areas.
You’ll work closely with program managers, analyze operational data, and help build reporting tools that support both internal decision-making and external accountability. This position is ideal for a student passionate about data, social programs, and making a difference.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with program managers to understand goals, activities, and expected outcomes
- Assist in developing logic models and outcome measurement tools
- Create, manage, and update tracking systems (primarily in Excel)
- Compile, clean, and analyze data related to service delivery and program results
- Help prepare dashboards, reports, and visual summaries of key performance indicators
- Support internal reporting cycles and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Conduct basic research to benchmark impact measurement best practices
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charting, data cleaning)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
- Interest in the nonprofit sector, social programs, or community development
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
**Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs Program)**:
Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident.
**Assets (Not Required)**:
- Experience with program evaluation or impact measurement
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Education in social sciences, business, public policy, or a related field
