**The Organization**
Youth Impact Jeunesse is a large accredited and charitable organization that has distinguished itself as a leader in the delivery of residential and community outreach services for at-risk youth. With more than 290 dedicated staff, the agency strives to make a positive difference in the lives of youth and their families by providing support and teaching them helpful skills needed to succeed. Currently Youth Impact Jeunesse operates fifteen residential facilities in seven different communities across New Brunswick. It also offers several community outreach programs within the Greater Moncton area.
Youth Impact Jeunesse is preparing to expand services and open a new Place of Safe and Supportive Care Program in Moncton, NB. Thisprogramwill be a locked, four-bed facility for youth ages 12 - 18 who are in care, have been court ordered by a family court judge and are at high risk of human trafficking, self-harm and aggression towards others. Service delivery will be a collaborative approach involving a wide range of other professional supports being provided and directed by Social Development.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Residential Services and will be liaising directly with Social Development and all other professionals, partners and community involved with this service.
**Job Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to**:
- Provide instruction and direction to the staff team regarding their tasks and responsibilities.
- Support and lead staff through change and challenges.
- Role model work ethic, appropriate conduct and decision making.
- Provide regular supervisions, coaching and evaluations to all staff of the program on a regular basis.
- Manage team dynamics, and address staff issues in a timely manner
- Develop and provide quality and effective onboarding to new staff of the program.
- Promote and maintain a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming and therapeutic environment for staff and youth.
- Build and maintain positive collaborative relationships with staff, youth, families, community, partners and other professionals associated with the program.
- Create provincial connections and opportunities with other centers and services that work with children and youth in at-risk situations.
- Ensure proper implementation of intake, care planning and discharge activities that promote successful transition to care.
- Ensure that service delivery is individualized to the youth of the program.
- Ensure the safety, well being and basic needs of staff and youth are being met and communicated.
- Ensure adherence to Provincial Standards, Canadian Centre for Accreditation Standards, and Operational/Personnel Policies, and to report any breaches to their supervisor.
- Program development, recommendations, and enhancement of service delivery.
- Maintain regular and timely communication with supervisor and reporting any significant developments and solutions to challenges.
- Work closely with community teams, stakeholders, and partners to create plans that support youth development.
- Make sure the voices of children are integrated into every aspect of the work and decision making.

**Educational Requirements**:
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in health or social service-related discipline is required.
**Experience Requirements**:
- Previous management and supervisory experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with youth with complex mental health and behavioural issues is required.
