**IELTS Speaking Examiner Training and Certification**

Please review the minimum professional requirements carefully as only applicants who meet them will be considered.

**Minimum Professional Requirements**:

- An undergraduate degree.
- A recognized TESOL / TEFL / TESL qualification.
- Three years' full-time ESL teaching experience (post TESOL / TEFL / TESL qualification).

**Recruitment, Training, Certification and Monitoring**
- Applicants must meet the Minimum Professional Requirements (stated above) and complete an Examiner Application Form in full in order to be considered for interview.
- Training and Certification**:2nd and 3rd November **(8:30am to 5:30pm each day) at 7380 King George Boulevard, Surrey, BC, V3W 5A5.
- Training & Certification Cost: $250.00.
- Completion of certification is required before examining.
- Ongoing monitoring is required for all IELTS Examiners.

**Rate of Pay, Examining Locations and Frequency**
- Starting at $17.00 per speaking test (equivalent to $51.00 per hour).
- Surrey and Abbotsford
- One to two times per month on select Saturdays and Sundays starting October 2024.
