**Job Overview**:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel remains in pristine condition. Your role is vital in creating a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Complete minor repairs, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and filters, as well as patching vinyl, painting, and repairing plumbing fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure systems are operational.
- Monitor and maintain efficiency in electrical systems, air conditioning controls, and entrance doors.
- Refurbish and paint furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the hotel’s exterior, parking lots, and recreational facilities.
- Handle tools, inventory, and supplies securely and responsibly to minimize waste and ensure availability.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or requests, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote teamwork and ensure smooth operations.
- Follow company and brand standards while carrying out duties.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- ** Experience**: Minimum of 1 year in building maintenance or repair. High school diploma or vocational training is preferred.
- ** Skills**: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.
- ** Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
- ** Other**: Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
