**About the opportunity**:
To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking to expand our Sales Team. We have a new opening for a highly motivated **Technical Sales Representative** to join our team. As a vital member of the Team, the Technical Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to identify, drive and qualify potential ICI business opportunities for Best Way Stone through the design and specification community. This Technical Sales Representative will work hand in hand with Best Way Stone’s sales and marketing teams to support and provide technical solutions and guidance to potential and current clients.
This position is based out of the BWS Uxbridge Office; however, it is expected that this position may require a considerable amount of travel around the GTA as well as to further destinations within Ontario.
- 3-5 years experience in B2B sales
- Related post-secondary education
- Preferred background in Landscape Architecture
- Landscape Design or CET certification is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong skill set to deal with engineering and architect offices, municipalities, real estate developers, etc.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Capacity to manage the thorough process.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Autonomy, proactivity, organization and problem solving.
- Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite) and CRM.
- Valid drivers license and passport

- Enjoy design and understand blueprints.
- Have the ability to help customers learn about hardscape products and systems knowledge.

- Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Be able to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Some of the responsibilities for this role include:_
- Builds a solutions-oriented approach to generating new sales with current and prospective clients.
- Provides technical guidance to customers where required.
- Establishes, maintains and grows business relationships with specifiers, engineers and design professionals.
- Works with the QA team regarding product development.
- Researches, builds and develops comprehensive ICI products portfolio and supporting education program.
- Helps build and guide technical documents and programs.
- Ensures CRM is up to date.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
