**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Installation of commercial frames and door hardware (hollow metal and wood doors).
- Experience in automatic doors and barrier free openings.
- Low voltage wire connecting.
- Knowledge in keying.
- Ability to master key and design master key systems.
- Inspect doorway frames and windows for installation purposes.
- Install, repairs, rebuilds and services for mechanical or electrical locking devices.
- Ability to assess locks e.g. padlocks, safe and door locks and repair or replace worn tumblers, springs and other parts.

**APPLICABLE SKILLS**:

- Welding (prefer MIG).
- Basic carpentry and fabrication skills.
- Ability to study drawing or specification of work order to illustrate layout and the installation procedure.
- Determine steps and guidelines to be used for installations.
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and other statutory requirements.
- Key cutting experience.
- Ability to lift.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Travel to different job sites as required.
- Loading/unloading vehicles (supplies, equipment, material and debris)
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND DRIVERS LICENSE.
- High School diploma or equivalent.

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**:

- Attention to detail.
- Work both independently, with a crew and under direct supervision.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Sound judgment, reasoning and decision making.
- Professional manner in dress code and with customers.

This position is to start immediately; wage will depend on experience.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
