My Catering Group is a locally owned, catering company operating cafes in some of Canada’s most renowned cultural institutions: the Canadian Museum of History, the Canadian War Museum, and the Canadian Museum of Nature. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and delicious food.

**Position: Prep Cook (part-time)**

We are seeking a prep cook to join our dedicated kitchen team at the Canadian Museum of Nature. In this role, you will play a key part in the prep and execution of a high-volume kitchen in a busy, fast-paced environment. Students with only summer availability are welcome to apply.

**Key Responsibilities**:
*Set up and organize workstations for smooth kitchen operations *Maintain par levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow *Prepare ingredients as needed, adhering to My Catering Group’s high standards *Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment *Assist with prepping for large events and internal deliveries as needed *Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient service of food

**Qualifications**:
*Experience as a prep cook in a similar kitchen role *Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils *A great work ethic and sense of urgency (required) *Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks (required) *Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small, close-knit team *Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism (required)
