**How will you make an impact in this role?**

The Global Campus Recruitment Team is responsible for developing and executing campus recruitment strategies for American Express. These strategies include enhancing the prospective and full-time student experience and partnering with senior business leaders and Human Resources to attract and retain the best talent for American Express.

The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts for our internship program in Canada, while also supporting the planning and execution of related initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for recruiting early career talent, with substantial experience in this area.

The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with colleges/universities and managing the campus recruitment and selection process for various business areas. The Campus Recruiter will act as the main point of contact for internal business partners, responsible for building strong relationships and assisting those groups in attracting and building a Campus talent pipeline.

The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for analyzing recruiting metrics and external data and proposing new recruiting strategies based on this information. They will also manage and coordinate project work streams across various markets/stakeholders on key initiatives.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Plan, execute, and represent American Express at in-person and virtual recruiting events to attract students for summer internship and full-time opportunities.
- Partner with the Global Campus Recruitment team to support recruitment activities across additional markets, as required.
- Build new relationships and maintain existing ones with school career services offices, university faculty, and targeted student organizations.
- Lead and coordinate with internal teams on American Express’ participation in all campus activities.
- Support the delivery of the Summer Intern Program by assisting with onsite and virtual events.
- Drive the conversion of high-performing Summer Interns into full-time roles at American Express upon graduation.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Create decks, deliver presentations, and engage in public speaking.
- Be available to work nights and weekends in exceptional circumstances.
- Communicate comfortably with stakeholders at all levels.
- Guide conversations among internal and external stakeholders.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree required.
- You must have the ability to travel up to 25% or work overtime as needed.
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to enable communication and analysis.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence colleagues, challenge the status quo, and confront difficult issues.
- Desire to learn across the spectrum of the different markets within the region.
- Ability to synthesize information and data, then communicate it concisely in conversations, presentations and organizational communications.
- Ability to think strategically, and flex between a big picture view and detailed execution.
- Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Oracle, Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or others preferred.
