**Job Summary**

The Association Growth and Administration Specialist for the London Property Management Association (LPMA) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the association while driving initiatives to grow membership and enhance the organization’s digital presence. This individual is responsible for administrative duties, member engagement, social media management, general accounting tasks, and supporting the Board of Directors to achieve LPMA’s strategic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administration and Member Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for LPMA members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
- Manage membership databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Oversee the planning and execution of meetings, events, and training sessions, including scheduling,
- logistics, and participant communication.
- Prepare reports, agendas, and meeting minutes for board and committee meetings.

**General Accounting**
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding dues.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in preparing monthly financial reports for the board.
- Coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor and manage the association’s budget, highlighting any concerns to the Board.

**Membership Growth and Engagement**
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Conduct outreach to local property managers, landlords, and stakeholders to promote the benefits of LPMA membership.
- Coordinate and facilitate networking opportunities and events to foster community within the association.

**Social Media and Digital Presence**
- Manage and grow LPMA’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to increase engagement and visibility.
- Create and curate relevant, engaging content for digital platforms, including newsletters, blogs, and social media posts.
- Analyze digital metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Update and maintain the LPMA website with current information, events, and resources.

**Support for Board and Committees**
- Assist the Board of Directors with the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for committees, ensuring efficient communication and follow-through on tasks.
- Act as a liaison between the Board and membership, sharing updates and gathering feedback.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Education: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

**Experience**:
At least 2 years of experience in administration, association management, or a similar role.

Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.

Proven experience in social media management and content creation.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite) and website management (e.g., WordPress) is an asset.
- Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with members and stakeholders.
