Dual Rate Surveillance Supervisor

While in the Supervisory role, you will be responsible for the supervision of surveillance employees in a shift work environment, fostering a safe and efficient work environment while maintaining an open door policy. Your strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You will maintain awareness of the gaming operation at all times, and plan, organize and direct the overall operation the shift by delegating duties, briefing/monitoring of employees, and overseeing occurrences as they develop. You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development. Your strong organizational skills will allow for balancing multiple responsibilities in operational demands and employee engagement. You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures.
- A post-secondary education or comparable working experience in related fields with strength in gaming/surveillance areas with preference of Supervisory experience in the related field of one (1) or more years
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and managerial skills
- Working knowledge of computer software packages
- A proficient knowledge of Internal Control Manual and AGCO Departmental Manual
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
