Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist to manage the day-to-day logistic activity and help improve overall freight management. Constantly work to improve service to customers and increase bottom line profits of the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and optimize daily logistics to provide maximum benefit to customers and company
- Assist in all aspects of the inbound/outbound logistic process, including booking, confirming and tracking shipments
- Stay in close contact with supply partners to manage deliveries
- Strengthen relationships with internal partners by providing accurate and timely responses
- Organize and provide proper documents, duty and tax information to customs brokers to ensure efficient clearance of shipments
- Maintain ERP system shipment entries to ensure a proactive management system
- Ensure compliance with international and customs regulations
- Optimize the use of the freight software throughout the organization and ensure accurate updates on rating information
- Prepare, and monitor various supply chain management reports as directed
- Various other duties as required

**Key Competencies**:

- 1-3 years' experience in a distribution Logistics environment
- BCom or college diploma in business or supply chain management an asset
- Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills
- Organized, detail oriented with an ability to manage tight timelines
- Knowledge of ERP system
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Strong English speaking and writing, French an asset

Sous la responsabilité du Directeur de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, nous recherchons un Spécialiste de la logistique pour gérer l’activité logistique quotidienne et aider à améliorer la gestion globale du fret. Travaillez constamment à améliorer le service aux clients et à augmenter les bénéfices nets de l’organisation.

**Responsabilités**:

- Gérer et optimiser la logistique quotidienne pour offrir un maximum d’avantages aux clients et à l’entreprise
- Aider à tous les aspects du processus logistique entrant / sortant, y compris la réservation, la confirmation et le suivi des expéditions
- Restez en contact étroit avec les partenaires d’approvisionnement pour gérer les livraisons
- Renforcer les relations avec les partenaires internes en fournissant des réponses exactes et opportunes
- Organiser et fournir les documents appropriés, les renseignements sur les droits et les taxes aux courtiers en douane afin d’assurer le dédouanement efficace des expéditions
- Maintenir les entrées d’expédition du système ERP pour assurer un système de gestion proactif
- Assurer le respect des réglementations internationales et douanières
- Optimiser l’utilisation du logiciel de fret dans l’ensemble de l’organisation et assurer des mises à jour précises sur les informations de tarification
- Préparer et surveiller divers rapports de gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement selon les directives
- Diverses autres tâches, au besoin

**Qualifications requises**:

- 3 ans d’expérience dans un environnement logistique de distribution
- B.Com. ou diplôme d’études collégiales en gestion des affaires ou de la chaîne d’approvisionnement un atout
- Solides compétences en analyse, en communication et en prise de décisions
- Organisé, axé sur les détails avec une capacité à gérer des délais serrés
- Connaissance du système ERP
- Solide connaissance de Microsoft 365
- Anglais parlé et écrit, le français un atout
