**Who is Old Yale Brewing?**

**Old Yale Brewing has officially opened the doors to our third location in Beaumont, Alberta** This stunning 11,000 sq ft, 400-seat **Craft Brewery + Kitchen** features a brand-new 7.5-hectoliter brewery, three patios, 20 beers on tap, plus a rotating selection of wine, cider, and cocktails.

With this exciting new location up and running, we're looking for **Servers** to join **Team OYB** and help deliver an exceptional guest experience at our newest home in Beaumont

At Old Yale Brewing Co., we pride ourselves in sharing our passion and love for our craft to inspire our community one person, one beer, one experience at a time.

The Server is an integral member of the restaurant and will assist with a multitude of functions such as assisting customers with the beer selection, advising and taking orders on food, and providing insight about product knowledge to educate, inform and inspire customers and sales. Overall, the Server must always take pride in our brand, the product, the brewery, the team, and our passion to always deliver a compelling shopping and sales experience.

**Responsibilities**:
+ Greet customers, ascertain their needs, and perform various administrative duties, including:

- Performing opening and closing procedures for the cash registers (e.g. counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, vouchers, balancing cash drawers, making deposits, etc.)
- Computing sales prices, processing payments, and maintaining sales records.
- Assisting with inventory management, shelf stocking, pricing, and merchandise display to promote sales.

+ Take food and beverage orders, provide recommendations, and answer menu inquiries.

+ Utilize P.O.S. systems to place orders, noting special requests and dietary restrictions.

+ Serve orders to customers from the kitchen to table; provide follow-up check-ins.

+ Monitor for security risks and thefts, and know how to handle such situations.

+ Issue customer bills, accept various methods of payments (cash, credit, debit, etc.).

+ Recommend, locate, or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.

+ Conduct various cleaning duties as needed in order to maintain a clean facility.

+ Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, payment policies, exchanges, and security practices.

+ Assist with event logistics, coordination, setup, and teardown.

+ Support the Marketing Department by responding to customer inquiries via the website and interacting on social media channels.

+ Assist with all functions of high-quality beer production, including inventory management, quality control, packaging, kegging, shipping, equipment maintenance, and cleaning.

+ Roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to get the job done and complete other duties as required within the same scope and level

**Qualifications**:
+ A love and passion for craft beer

+ Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

+ Prior knowledge or experience in the brewing industry is considered an asset.

+ Proven customer service skills to provide impeccable service.

+ High energy and performance-driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement; able to work in a team environment.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including superior interpersonal abilities.

+ Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

+ Flexible, dependable, and dedicated.

+ Enthusiasm for sharing your passion for beer
