Full time - Monday - Friday

Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM

**Responsibilities**

  • Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of light, medium and heavy-duty trailers.
  • Identify potential and future problems.
  • Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts.
  • Compose estimates of work required.
  • Consult with the service coordinator as needed for work required, estimates and customer approvals.
  • Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on work order.
  • Monitor stock levels of parts and supplies. Work with service coordinator to replenish levels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Qualifications**

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • 3 or more years of experience
  • Safety Inspections Certificate an asset.
  • Air Brake Endorsement is an asset.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Mig GMAW welding experience an asset
  • Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiar with the tools of the trade and personally equipped with adequate supply of tools.
  • Own CSA approved safety footwear
  • Own transportation
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
