Full time - Monday - Friday

Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of light, medium and heavy-duty trailers.
- Identify potential and future problems.
- Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts.
- Compose estimates of work required.
- Consult with the service coordinator as needed for work required, estimates and customer approvals.
- Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on work order.
- Monitor stock levels of parts and supplies. Work with service coordinator to replenish levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 3 or more years of experience
- Safety Inspections Certificate an asset.
- Air Brake Endorsement is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Mig GMAW welding experience an asset
- Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiar with the tools of the trade and personally equipped with adequate supply of tools.
- Own CSA approved safety footwear
- Own transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
