What you’ll be doing

As a member of the CCIS/COA Governance team, you’ll work in a structured and results-driven environment dedicated to maintaining the integrity of CIBC’s financial reporting framework. As a Business Consultant you’ll provide enhanced governance and expertise on the Chart of Accounts, the foundation of CIBC’s financial infrastructure. You’ll manage the hierarchies to ensure CIBC’s financial infrastructure is maintained according to best practice and standards, and coordinate the retroactive adjustments/restatements process.

How you’ll succeed
- Chart of Accounts Governance - Oversee the governance and integrity of the chart of accounts, ensuring that all updates align with CIBC’s financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. Act as a gatekeeper to maintain control over the chart of accounts, ensuring that updates do not compromise data quality or create redundancies.
- Process Improvement - Continuously assess and improve the chart of accounts governance framework by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices. Drive automation and digital initiatives to enhance the efficiency of element setup.
