Support Workers Wanted

Location: Kenata

Wage: Bi-weekly pay

We are looking for those who have experience/knowledge assisting clients in therapeutic residential programs. Care workers will work one to one to support our clients in; attending court, academic/day programming, home visits, and in the home with day to day functions.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience dealing with adults who have special needs and/or behaviour difficulties is preferred as well as the ability to assess, interpret and record behaviour in a meaningful way.

The ability to build trusting relationships with clients and participate in a professional treatment team approach is required.

Must have the ability to relate to Indigenous individuals and have an understanding of the various issues that impact this population.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- KANATA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
