**Job Function**:
Maintenance Level II is responsible for the ongoing day to day maintenance and repair duties in the Foundation suites and buildings, ensuring a high quality of services is provided for resident safety, security, comfort and satisfaction. The focus is on in-suite repairs, building operations and repairs and grounds oversight and repairs. He/she is directly responsible to the Maintenance Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute the preventative maintenance program for the Foundation buildings
- Review and completes tenant maintenance requests daily via in a timely and efficient manner based on priority.
- Responsible for maintenance of the Common Areas/Grounds/Suites to ensure a high quality of services are provided
- Operations and maintenance of HVAC and mechanical systems, boilers and laundry equipment.
- Routine maintenance and repairs to lighting, heating, plumbing and emergency systems.
- Painting and some general carpentry
- Coordinate and perform regular maintenance and repairs as required for suite refurbishment
- Establish and maintain an inventory of maintenance materials
- Maintain all equipment as required.
- On call rotation
- Performing all other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:
High School Diploma or other equivalent education (GED)
- 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or other related maintenance field.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with use of all types of tools
- First Aid Level A, WHMIS
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Mandatory successful criminal record check
- Good Health, physically able to perform duties
- Applicants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 Proof of vaccination will be required upon hiring
- Equivalencies may be considered
- This position is open to male and female applicants

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $23.36 per hour
