The Ottawa Centre for Cognitive Therapy (OCCT) is seeking a full-time Psychology Administrative Assistant.

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Scheduling both in-person and remote appointments for a team of 13 clinicians, considering specific scheduling preferences
- Billing and collecting payment from clients
- Filing, photocopying, and faxing documents
- Sending appointment reminders and cancellation notices to fill open appointments
- Preparing physician letters and other correspondence
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline
- At least 2 years experience working as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a psychology office
- Familiarity with ethical principles (i.e. client confidentiality) for psychology, as laid out by the Ontario College of Psychologists
- Experience using a client-based database and managing sensitive information
- Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines

**Skill Requirements**
- Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality
- Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and handle client disputes
- Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in using office management software (e.g., client database, calendar software) and Mac computers
