Access to Therapy Initiative is a nonprofit organization helping low-income Canadians access free mental health counselling. We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as **Community Fundraisers** for our summer door-to-door fundraising campaign.
This is a **part-time, seasonal role** ideal for students, first-job seekers, or anyone looking to make a difference while earning income on weekends. You’ll work in a team selling candy products to raise funds for our therapy program, and all proceeds go directly to helping people access mental health support.
**Position Details**:
- **Title**: Community Fundraiser
- **Location**: Winnipeg, MB
- **Schedule**: Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (fixed)
- **Duration**: July 1 to October 1, 2025
- **Hours**: 16 hours/week
- **Pay**: Minimum wage guaranteed ($15.80/hour) with bonuses based on performance
- **Paid biweekly** via direct deposit
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Go door-to-door in Winnipeg neighborhoods in a team
- Sell food products to raise funds for our nonprofit
- Use Square card readers to process debit and credit transactions
- Handle and track cash and inventory responsibly
- Return to the office at end of shift to reconcile and receive daily pay
**Qualifications**:
- Must be available every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to walk for several hours and work outdoors in various weather
- Comfortable talking to strangers in a respectful, professional way
- Have a smartphone capable of running the Square, SalesRabbit apps
- Punctual, responsible, and ready to be part of a team
- No fundraising or sales experience necessary — training provided
