**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Safely control and direct traffic using hand signals, stop/slow paddles, and other approved methods.
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones in compliance with Alberta Transportation regulations.
- Maintain communication with site supervisors, equipment operators, and other crew members to ensure efficient traffic flow.
- Monitor site conditions and adapt traffic control measures as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changing conditions to ensure public and worker safety.
- Provide clear and respectful communication to drivers, pedestrians, and site personnel.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification as per Alberta Transportation standards.
- Knowledge of Alberta Transportation traffic management guidelines and best practices.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, including OHS regulations.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
